Clubs have been busy rounding off fundraising efforts for our charity partners, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

Moray & Speyside WF were delighted to hand over over a cheque of £322 to Linda Bethell (Peer & Involvement Coordinator - North) for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, by holding a foot-golf competition at Rothes Golf Club.

Midlothian WF held a social evening and raised a terrific £1k and we say a massive thank you to Vivian Wallace and her team for this tremendous effort.

In the East, Oriam were delighted to welcome Stenhousemuir for a friendly whereas former Rangers player who now plays for Pollok Utd Walking Football, took a trip up to Stornoway and took part in a friendly walking football match as part of special few days of book signings and interviews.

Our own patron Rose Reilly was also out and about visiting the Stewarton WF group who play weekly in the Rose Reilly Sports Centre.

Annan Athletic were winners of a little mini borders league played over 3 events including St Cuthbert Wanderers and Stranraer organised by Gary Small.

Annan walking football won on the day with a combined total but over the 3 tournaments throughout the year, composite winners were St Cuthbert Wanderers.

And finally, there was European success for Pollok Utd as they were victorious in Alicante as they won the Esquina Park Rangers annual Walking Football Cup - congratulations!!
