A lot of our clubs have also been taking part in various events and tournaments with Glasgow Life winning the Rangers Charity Foundation EFND Tournament. North Lanarkshire Council were also victorious in Eastbourne and there was participation in the Blackpool Tournament by Linlithgow Rose CFC, Townhead Strollers and Shotts Bon Accord taking part in their first ever tournament.
East Regional Rep for Dundee, Gordon Farquharson has been busy on a weekly basis supporting a new Mental Health Session delivered by Fairfield and last weekend they had their first festival where many walking footballers from across Dundee supported.
Central Region Rep, Claire McCosh was delighted to visit Syngenta last week to see them take on Alloa Athletic at Grangemouth High School in a friendly, something the club is keen to do more often.
WFS Trustee Vivian Wallace was out supporting her Midlothian footballers with Defib training - such an important life skill which the gents greatly appreciated.
